Charity of the year announcement
We’re a giving bunch here at PSG and no strangers to a bit of charitable work (but we do not usually like to talk about it) and this year we’ve decided to make Bath Cats and Dogs Home our charity of the year. It seemed especially fitting given that we have our own office hound, Meg, who is very much a part of the team. This will involve a number of events throughout the year, starting with a day of volunteering on Friday 5th May (so please note that our offices will be closed). We are also taking over the amazing boatshed come hunting cabin we are lucky enough to have on site here at Box house, to sell homemade cakes, sausage rolls and whatever other goodies we can coerce people into creating in the name of charity. We’ll be opening the shop on the 29th June and hope that everyone else on site will come and buy their lunch from us that day, mingle and get to know us.
We are also taking part in a Kennel Break on 9th June. The Kennel Break will see Steve and Maria locked in a dog kennel together until they’ve raised £1,000. Of course we had to put our own spin on this and so Steve will be dressed as Scooby Doo and Maria as Daphne. We aren’t sure what happens if they fail to raise £1,000 but we suspect that Steve will cough up any shortfall just to escape from Maria. If you are fellow animal lovers and want to support us in the Kennel Break, please get in touch with us, we’d love to hear from you. Keep your eyes peeled on social media for images and news of these events in the coming weeks
